Thomas Bailey Aldrich additional papers, ca. 1850-1904.

Letters and manuscripts by Aldrich. One letterpress copybook contains 22 letters, 1881-1890, by Aldrich (most with typed transcripts), concerned chiefly with Atlantic Monthly editorial matters. Manuscripts of works by Aldrich include The Last Caesar, Tom Folio, Poor Yorick, Judith of Bethulia, and The Tents of Asshur, an early version of Judith of Bethulia. In addition there is an illustrated transcript of Aldrich's poem Baby Bell done by L. T. Hyde and a daguerreotype portrait of Aldrich from the 1850s.
